Transcription Services
DataForce offers speech and audio transcription services to scale your speech and audio recognition capabilities by augmenting your training and test data in a language that you are already working on or by expanding your language portfolio. Transcription aligns speech with its written form. In addition to writing out what has actually been said, it includes various client-specific tags for background noise, speaker noise (e.g., a cough), incomplete words, or unintelligible speech. For conversational data, tracking speakers and providing timestamps around speaker turns or other audio events is often required.

Quality Assurance
We understand that consistent and high-quality transcriptions are crucial to the success of our clients’ systems. Over the years, we have developed an approach that combines automatic and manual quality checks. Automatic checks in our platform and client-specific scripts ensure correct spelling, use of only legal tags, and correct use of punctuation.
A percentage of the data is checked manually by designated reviewers: that percentage is higher at the beginning of the project when transcribers need more feedback to adhere to the client’s guidelines and becomes reduced toward the end.
Proprietary Transcription Platform
Transcription can be done in our proprietary platform that allows us to produce high-quality transcriptions at scale. However, we can also work in third-party tools, should that be our client’s preference.

If needed, DataForce can source expert transcribers that cover almost any domain and industry, from life sciences and finance to legal and more.
Secure Transcription
Although remote transcription is our most common delivery model, we can also provide secure transcription for sensitive data. We can recruit teams to work on the client’s premises, and we have a number of secure facilities where we will monitor for access, disable external connections, and comply with other client-specific security requirements. Finally, our cloud solution also offers secure data handling.
